Alice talks about plagiarism again! Mostly because I’ve had a pretty eventful morning and it’s not even noon yet. (Well, it wasn’t when I started writing this.) PS: I stayed home from school today because I feel mildly nauseous and I had a headache ;~; I’ve been playing Pokemon Ruby all morning, though! :3
But anyways. Plagiarism. Yeah. Um. It’s not okay. Like, ever. Even if it’s for schoolwork (especially if it’s for schoolwork, actually.) And it’s definitely not okay when it comes to online fiction, because it’s work published by a non-copyrighted author and that author is trusting his or her readers to purely read and enjoy his or her stories, not taking them and posting them somewhere else to get credit for something those readers didn’t even right.
I mean, yeah. Plagiarism isn’t going to stop. People are going to still do it. But that doesn’t mean it’s right. And just because people are going to still do it doesn’t mean that you can do it too. And–um, I’m talking to a hypothetical you, but it’s just that I’ve had so many experiences with plagiarism on the internet (not my own, but I’ve been closely associated with a lot of them) that every time I think about it or discover more, I just get really… emotional about it –’

BAGHghghghg I’m stressing out because I have homework due in the next two weeks even though I literally have seven days of school left THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Arghhh I have:
a) APES project due today (woke up early to finish it T_T)
b) Vocab quiz today
c) Need to makeup words on the vocab test in my other English
d) Make up French quiz or else my grade would be a D… yeah, no.
e) Creative Writing story (SOBS)
f) Government test sometime next week
g) Government binder check sometime next week
h) French class-group project (editing video)
i) Academic English mother speech/essay
j) A test on Enrique’s Journey sometime soon (which probably means that I should read it…)
k) A bunch of notes I need to take for AP English

This isn’t exclusively about Mother’s Day! Although it’ll have a lot to do with today because I actually did stuff today and oTL life. Also I don’t know why I’m talking about this like I’m talking to someone on the internet, but whatever. Also, updates over the past few days because I was gonna blog and then I didn’t and I DON’T KNOW WHY I’M SO RELUCTANT TO BLOG NOWADAYS BUT THEN WHEN I GET INTO IT I REALLY GET INTO IT OTL;;
And I want to whine about my writing but I’ll save that for another post.
